Job Description
Our Client, a Leading Private Bank is looking out for a AVP - DevOps/DevsecOps - Jenkins/ Kubernetes to be based at Mumbai.
Immediate joining candidates based at Mumbai would be preferred for the role.
Job responsibilities:
• Lead the DevSecOps practice across projects in delivering consistent and holistic solutions across all assigned projects
• Work closely with Tech Leads and developers of various teams to assess existing problems and to come up with process improvement solutions
• Work closely with architects, engineering leads and information security teams in period assessments and troubleshooting of the security infrastructure
• Detect upcoming bottlenecks and production issues proactively and consult teams hands-on towards improved technical solutions
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Lead planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Execute on plan by building coding standardizations and automating processes for the organization
• Perform daily tasks such as environmental health checks, disk space monitoring, and environmental status reports • Maintain and grow the existing knowledge of platform configuration management and troubleshooting
• Actively participate in deploying application artifacts to appropriate target environments using the supported technologies and infrastructure
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in engineering infrastructure design; 6+ years in DevOps / DevSecOpsroles with experience in leading teams as a lead engineer / architect
• Strong coding and scripting skills and experience with implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS)
• Working knowledge of the Agile methodology of software development
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Experience / working knowledge with configuring, deploying and operating public cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) • Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes, Docker, configuration management and monitoring
• Experience with continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, etc.
• Experience with Secops tools like Twistlock , slack, graphana, etc
• Good understanding and knowledge on Container platforms eg – Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, Anthos, Openshift etc
• Experienced with building, debugging, operating systems, databases and infrastructure at scale
• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure, databases such as MySQL, Mongo, Postgres etc
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform, clouformation etc
