Role Title: Assistant Vice President, Credit Services

Credit Services Business Service is a Service Delivery platform that supports CMB & GBM through a network of centers spread across multiple regions. It aims to provide enhanced customer experience by delivering best-in-class practices, leveraging economies of scale and building a talent pool of experts in a sustainable cost efficient environment.
Credit Services supports Commercial Banking across the Group/regions in the areas of credit information collation, application preparation, financial spreading and maintenance, credit analysis, limit loading, account maintenance, post approval monitoring and other credit operations
The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role)
To manage the operational activities/challenges of allocated processes and changing environment of the GSC's, while ensuring resources match workloads to provide cost effective processing to deliver an efficient, high quality service within Service Level Agreements. Also ensure that areas of operational risks are identified, monitored and managed effectively to enable business continuity.
• As an Assistant Vice President (AVP), you are overall responsible for the performances of the processes under your purview. You are required to be the driving force to ensure that the service levels are maintained at it's optimum level.
• Relationship building would be the focus of the role with an approach to improve on existing services provided and attracting new work to the GSC.
• BCP tests and other contingency requirements are in place for uninterrupted service.
• Should ensure that staff are kept motivated and development plans are in place too. The focus should be to curtail attrition whilst providing the required environment for the business to grow on a month on month basis.
Additional authority would be provided for the AVPO for audit and managerial purposes. However, the job holder is restricted to the privileges provided within the process and should be abided by the procedures governing the same. The Vice President (AVPO – Line manager) would be overseeing the AVPO's day to day operational aspects and would also be seen as the mentor for personal development.
