Automotive Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to work with schematics, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including inspections, oil changes, and brake services.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
Weld parts when necessary to ensure structural integrity and safety.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's needs, providing clear explanations of repairs and maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems.
Experience with heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus.

Pay: $16.00-$35.00 per hour
