• Perform automated testing for web applications using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) or similar
design patterns.
• Develop and execute UI and API test cases.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain automation scripts for reliability and performance
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Implement API automation using Playwright API, Postman, or REST Assured.
• Work with test runners such as Playwright Test, Jest, or Mocha.
• Manage version control using Git and ensure CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high test coverage.
• Work in agile environments and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 4–6 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM) or similar framework design patterns.
• Experience in UI and API automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD processes.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Docker for containerized test execution.
• Experience with cross-browser cloud platforms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Understanding performance testing using Playwright.
