Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1- 4 years of post-qualification experience to join our Audit team. The candidate will be responsible for executing statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other assurance assignments across diverse industries while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and limited review assignments.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and audit documentation.
• Finalize financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients for audit planning, information gathering, and closure of audit observations.
• Prepare audit reports, management letters, and MIS reports.
• Support due diligence, certification, and other assurance engagements.
• Assist in mentoring articles and junior team members, where applicable.
Requirements
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in a CA firm.
• Strong knowledge of statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, accounting standards, and auditing standards.
• Working knowledge of the Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software such as Tally, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements, if required.
Preferred Skills
• Experience handling clients across manufacturing, services, trading, or other industries.
• Exposure to IND AS/IFRS will be an added advantage.
