Job Summary
The Wu Law Firm, a committed immigration law practice dedicated to compassionate and zealous advocacy, is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will represent in court, provide legal counsel, perform legal research, guide paralegals, draft documents, and update and maintain files. You will work closely with paralegals, other colleagues, and owner/manager to provide excellent legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities
Representing clients in immigration court proceedings and interviews with agencies like USCIS, EOIR & ICE
Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents for EOIR and USCIS Conduct legal research for complex matters Prepare for and attend legal proceedings Provide legal counsel in conjunction with manager/ owner Maintain detailed and accurate client records Work with paralegals team overseeing legal research and case preparation Provide consultations to potential clients Managing communication between clients and legal team members Coordinating case timelines and ensuring deadlines are met across the legal team
Qualifications
Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and bar exam
Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) 1 - 2 years of experience attending legal proceedings Strong verbal and written communication skills Detailed oriented Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google suite Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients. Spanish preferred but not required. Position is required for Philadelphia Office in PA or New Brunswick Office in NJ Some traveling might be required to the Newark EOIR or the USCIS Offices

Compensation
Salary Range: $70,000–$95,000 (depending on experience).
