Induslaw is a leading law firm in India that does cutting edge M&A advisory for Indian businesses as well as multinational corporations. We are looking to hire only for the Tax practice. The tax practice group advises on the tax and regulatory aspects of structuring, planning and implementation of M&A transactions. As part of the tax team, you will examine transactions for tax risks or mitigate tax exposure, advise clients on tax and regulatory efficient restructurings, interpret complex tax legislations and judicial precedents, undertake financial analyses to evaluate potential tax consequences of transactions, conduct buy-side and sell-side tax due diligences, and review and draft transaction documents from a tax perspective. In addition, you will also advise on cross border advisory engagements that involve international tax aspects including interpretation of double tax avoidance agreements. As part of small and niche practice, you can be assured of early responsibility, direct interaction with clients, and a chance to grow with the team and firm.
Ideal candidate: CA with M&A tax/corporate tax experience (1-5 years) and/or LLB with 2-3 years of M&A tax experience (LLB applicants should be comfortable with accounting aspects) with excellent research capabilities. Candidates without any direct tax experience need not apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
