Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.
Engineers actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of components by applying the learning from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and championing a 'DevOps' mind-set.

What about this?
All 6 of these positions are internalizations from existing India Vendor Accenture. These roles are critical to HMCP as we need to ensure that IP for New Relic is not pushed too much solely with the vendor staff and we also build out knowledge within DB. All of these positions will be based out of Pune, India, and will be working on New Features Enablement and GCP based delivery for New Relic which is critical for our cloud journey.
Existing vendors will be moved from their roles if these positions are approved and will see a 300,000 Euros per annum save to the Cirrus budget line if we move these from existing vendor staff to DB AVPs Pune (based on actuals from vendor and man-day rate for Perm staff). Internalization will de-risk the loss of DB IP in strategic cloud observability solution and will reduce costs for Cirrus program.
