Job description
Key responsibilities:

1. Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate engineering courses according to the university curriculum.

2. Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, assignments, and assessment tools.

3. Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and practical sessions using modern teaching methods.

4. Evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, projects, practical exams, and semester examinations.

5. Mentor and guide students in academic, career, and project-related activities.

6. Supervise student projects, internships, and research work.

7. Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.

8. Apply for research grants, patents, and consultancy projects where applicable.

9. Develop and update course content in line with industry trends and accreditation requirements.

10. Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.

11. Participate in curriculum development and outcome-based education (OBE) implementation.

12. Organise workshops, seminars, technical events, industrial visits, and guest lectures.

13. Support NBA, NAAC, AICTE, or university accreditation documentation and quality assurance activities.

14. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and institutional development initiatives.

15. Collaborate with industry partners to promote internships, training, and placement opportunities.

16. Perform administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department or Principal.

17. Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously enhance teaching and technical skills.

18. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic regulations, and professional ethics.
