We’re on the hunt for a Controller to lead our talented finance organization supporting the innovative Specialty Products portfolio. As a key member of the Specialty Products leadership team, this role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to lead the global finance organization (US and Europe) while working closely with the VSL and PMT to develop and execute the business strategy and financial plan, all while maintaining robust controls and financial reporting.

This hybrid role can be based at one of the following Collins Aerospace locations: Winston-Salem, NC; Miami, FL; or Lenexa, KS.

Because this is a global role, schedule flexibility is essential. You’ll lead a geographically distributed team across Europe and the U.S. and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in locations including, but not limited to, the U.K., Germany, the Philippines, Phoenix, and Colorado Springs.

Relocation support may be available for this position.

What You Will Do:

Collaborate with business leaders to focus on key profit drivers and execute actions for financial success.

Champion long-term financial planning and develop impactful business cases for MA and major investments.

Mentor a global team, aligning on a shared vision and connecting finance to broader goals.

Enhance financial controls through effective frameworks, monitoring, and compliance across all finance areas.

Coordinate clear communication for planning and forecasting to ensure timely and accurate results.

Mature key finance processes and standardize practices to boost efficiency and achieve forecast accuracy.

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and business cases to support VSL and finance leadership in decision-making.

Support business travel up to 25% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics

10+ years of Finance experience, including leadership roles (Controller, FPA)

Qualifications We Prefer:

MBA or CPA

Proficiency in HFM/OneStream

Microsoft Office experience

Manufacturing industry experience

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
