Assistant Restaurant Manager – Full Time
Moretti Ristorante Pizzeria, Leichhardt
Moretti is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily running of our busy Italian restaurant in Leichhardt.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who knows how a proper service runs and is comfortable leading from the floor. You’ll work closely with the Manager helping manage front of house, staff, bookings, and service flow, especially during busy periods.
You’ll be responsible for running shifts end to end. That includes opening and closing, supervising staff, managing the floor, handling guest feedback, and stepping in when things get busy. You need to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and lead by example. This is not an office role. You’ll be on the floor, involved, and visible.
We’re looking for someone with solid restaurant experience, ideally in a high-volume or well-run independent venue. You should be confident dealing with staff and customers, reliable, organised, and comfortable working nights and weekends. Attitude and judgement matter more than job titles.
This is a full-time position. We’re not looking to overload hours. The goal is consistency, trust, and quality.
Salary is $70,000 plus super ( plus Tips)
