Job Description
Main Purpose of Job
• Execute fan/RAPH design tasks and maintain a close interaction with the drawing office and its management.
• Attending to manufacturing process on and off site with clear support and directive serve as a resource to LTH staff on all technical matters and mentor engineering entrants.
Accountability
• Compile and issue design data sheets for complex, nonstandard custom designed fans containing all aspects of nonstandard fan design following Howden design rules with engineering manager's approval.
• Maintain close interaction with drawing office and their management providing support and assistance in administration to maintain a well operational drawing office
• Approving manufacturing drawings — QA requirement
• Assess repair work scopes and compile repair procedures
• Provide support to junior engineers with repair assessment and approve repair procedures
• Conduct fan tests and provide a written report within agreed time frameworks
• Offer solutions to the works regarding manufacturing non-conformances and rectifications to assist the works. Approve/reject and provide solutionsCarry out site visits for fan assessment
• Concept modelling along with drawing checking & approval- for manufacturing, supplier
