Aussie Disposals, a leading outdoor and camping retailer, is currently seeking two dedicated and dynamic Assistant Managers and a Full Time Employee to join our teams in the Southeastern Suburbs!
Aussie Disposals has been a trusted name in outdoor equipment and adventure gear, providing quality outdoor gear to adventure enthusiasts for over 60 years. With a wide range of products including camping equipment, outdoor clothing, survival gear, and workwear, we are committed to helping our customers make the most of their outdoor experiences.
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. You will be responsible for assisting with staff management, inventory control, customer service, and ensuring the overall success of the store. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the outdoors and a desire to grow their career in the retail industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
o Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, training, and
performance management.
o Ensure excellent customer service by providing product knowledge, resolving customer
inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
o Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing stock.
o Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and drive store profitability.
o Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store appearance.
o Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
We're looking for individuals who possess:
o Previous retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
o Knowledge of outdoor and camping products is an asset.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
