Job Title: Assistant Manager - Logistics and Dispatch
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with at least 7 years of experience in the Logistics and Dispatch department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise a team of logistics and dispatch staff
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics and dispatch operations
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities
• Prepare and analyze reports on departmental performance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role in the Logistics and Dispatch department
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
