Roles & Responsibility
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of Agreements (including vendor / supplier contracts, NDAs, MoUs,IT / software Agreements, marketing / endorsement agreements, renewals etc.) while ensuringCompany’s contractual and commercial interests, compliance with regulatory / legal framework andinternal company policies (including McDonald’s Global standards). Identify, assess, mitigate and quantify contractual and commercial risks for the Company pertaining toAgreements; develop internal risk reporting mechanisms. Advise stakeholders on appropriate contractual and commercial risk mitigation strategies and trade-offspertaining to the risk exposure in line with internal company policies and standards. Develop negotiation plans for third party engagement to optimize negotiation outcomes, which includesidentification of the items that will be negotiated and risk assessment of the individual impact on theoverall negotiation & business objectives. Maintain centralized contract repository and implement process for efficient Agreement management. Support the Company’s Compliance and Business Ethics Program. Develop, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies for various internalDepartments / areas to ensure compliance with McDonald’s global requirements, regulatory framework,values of ethics and integrity, and industry-specific standards. Develop and conduct training programs for internal stakeholders on legal and compliance relatedmatters.
Requirements
LLB(Mandatory) from a university recognized in India.
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the practice of law, a combination of law firm and in-housecounsel experience will be preferred in the area of Agreements and Compliance. Experience in QSR, Retail or Services in that order. However, experience in other sectors such asmanufacturing will be useful and will be considered.
