Assistant Manager – HR & Admin
Location: Mumbai
Opening: Immediate. Notice period can be discussed. We appreciate the candidates serving their notice periods completely.
Work Experience: Candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 6 years of working experience in an HR function. Out of which at least 2-3 years should in managing employee engagement. He/she should also have a good working knowledge of HR & Admin operations. Candidates who have worked in a startup environment will be preferred.
Skills required: The candidate should be well versed in Microsoft office – word, excel & power point. Candidate should have good communication skills and articulate points in a lucid manner. He/she should be good at negotiations while dealing with potential hires or with third party vendors.
Educational background: B.Com/B.A/B.Sc, MBA in HR
Job Profile:
Candidate must undertake employee engagement programs for the office staff for e.g., team bonding, break the monotony, Friday fun evenings, team picnics, company offsites etc.)Candidate should handle the day to day HR operations. This will include but not limited to maintaining employee documents, salary sheet, attendance & leave records, managing employee queries related to salary, company policies, reimbursements, employee travel expense tracking and management, office running expenses for employees etc.Office Administration will be part of this profile (for e.g. - coordination on travel bookings, office maintenance, ordering consumables, office upkeep etc.)The candidate will assist the CEO/senior leadership team in handling all recruitment related work. This will include but not limited to coordinating with teams on the open positions, documenting the formal requirements, coordinating with the recruitment partners for the open positions, doing search for junior level positions, coordinating with recruitment partners & leadership team on interview schedule, follow ups, closure on hiring negotiations with recruitment partners based on inputs from CEO/Leadership team, onboarding of all hired candidates.Candidate must have a basic understanding of the employee performance matrix. He/she will be trained over time in performance management.
Other Requirements: Candidate should be confident, highly driven and a self-starter. He/she should have a pleasant personality and must communicate effectively. Candidate should be open to collaborating with team members and open to new ideas. Candidate should be comfortable with fast paced working culture without losing an eye for detailing on quality output and results. Work with leadership team to achieve the company goals. Most importantly he/she should remain calm under pressure and respect all other colleagues and partners.
