Now Hiring: Asphalt Rake Person (Experienced)
PROCONSUL CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a motivated and experienced Asphalt Rake Person to join our paving crew in the Edmonton area.
Responsibilities
Rake and lute hot mix asphalt to final grade.
Assist the paving crew in achieving proper mat quality and smooth finishes.
Perform hand work around manholes, catch basins, curbs, sidewalks, and other obstacles.
Check and maintain proper asphalt depths and grades.
Work closely with the screed operator, roller operators, and foreman.
Assist with site setup, traffic control, and general labour duties as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of asphalt paving experience preferred.
Ability to work long hours, weekends, and overtime when required.
Physically fit and able to work in hot weather.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (preferred).
Reliable transportation to job sites.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
