Job Purpose:
As an Art Director – 2D, you will lead the development of compelling, brand-aligned visual designs across print and digital touchpoints. From immersive event graphics to multi-format campaign elements, you will steer the visual language of projects while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with strategic, client servicing, and production teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.,
Key Responsibilities / Accountability:
• Creative Conceptualization & Campaign Execution
• Develop original visual concepts and direct the creative output across branding, marketing, event, and digital campaigns ensuring consistency and quality across media.
• Design Strategy Alignment
• Translate brand stories into visually engaging design languages that align with both client objectives and target audience sensibilities—spanning ATL, BTL, digital, MICE, and experiential formats.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Lead, guide, and review the work of design team members; provide constructive feedback and ensure on-brand, on-brief, and timely delivery of design assets.
• Event & Experience Design
• Design creative visual assets for conferences, activations, exhibitions, and internal branding that resonate emotionally and elevate the physical experience of spaces and events.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with copywriters, programmers, production teams, and client leads to translate concepts into integrated campaigns with seamless narrative flow.
• Brand Custodianship & Internal Communication
• Ensure brand identity is consistently maintained through all deliverables and internal touchpoints, including NeoNiche’s own communications and creative culture.
• Trend Forecasting & Visual Innovation
• Stay ahead of design and cultural trends to proactively evolve NeoNiche’s creative output; explore innovative visual styles, formats, and techniques to bring fresh perspectives to every campaign.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in Applied Arts, Communication Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent from a reputed design school.
• 6–7 years of experience in graphic design within the event, media, advertising, or creative industry.
• Proven expertise in event design, brand activation, and integrated campaign design (both print & digital).
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, typography, and layout design.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Deep understanding of visual storytelling, brand systems, and audience psychology.
• Strong grasp of print production, file handling, and layout adaptation for multi-format campaigns.
• Ability to balance creativity with strategic intent and tight deadlines.
• Eagerness to explore new tools, formats, and creative trends across industries.
• Excellent visual judgment, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.
• Effective communicator—able to justify design decisions internally and externally.
• Passion for events, experience design, and brand immersion.
Portfolio Expectations:
Strong portfolio showing brand identity design, event visual design, stage and space graphics, digital collaterals, and campaign visual systems.
Tools - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) + CorelDRAW; familiarity with motion or 3D (After Effects, Blender, or similar) is a plus
