Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager with 8–12 years of proven experience in the farm machinery and agricultural equipment industry. The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of agricultural implements, combine harvesters, farming equipment, dealer networks, and rural market sales.
Only candidates from the Farm Machinery / Agricultural Equipment / Combine Harvester industry will be considered. Candidates from unrelated sales backgrounds are requested not to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
* Manage sales of agricultural implements, combine harvesters, and related farm equipment.
* Build and strengthen dealer and distributor networks across assigned territories.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
* Maintain strong relationships with farmers, dealers, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
* Conduct market research to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends.
* Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
* Coordinate with production, dispatch, and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and business development plans.
* Participate in agricultural exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer engagement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
* 8–12 years of relevant sales experience in farm machinery, agricultural implements, or combine harvesters.
* Strong understanding of farming practices, agricultural equipment applications, and rural markets.
* Established dealer/distributor network within the agriculture sector.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in sales planning, market development, and team management.
* Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
* Experience with combine harvesters, seed drills, rotavators, straw reapers, laser land levellers, and other farm implements.
* Strong knowledge of North Indian agricultural markets.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business expansion.
Important Note:

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
