Architectural Millwork CAD Technician

CAD Technician for Millwork Design and Supply company

Bar None Designs is looking for a motivated and experienced draftsperson to assist with design drawings, shop drawings and CNC program files

Requirements:

· Min. 3 years Auto CAD drafting experience

· Ability to read Blueprints and design drawings

· Convert Architectural Blueprints to shop drawings used for manufacturing

· Detail orientated

· Ability to work as a team and independently

Experience and Skills:

· AutoCAD drafting (min 3 years)

· Interior design

· Experience working in the millwork industry

· Knowledge of woodworking process and procedures

· Estimating materials and hardware

Required Education

· High School or equivalent

· AutoCAD certificate/diploma

· Microvellum – CAD software an asset

· Interior design an asset

Responsibilities

Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed architectural millwork drawings and schematics.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy in drafting and design.
Collaborate with architects and construction teams to refine designs and resolve issues.
Employ woodworking techniques to develop prototypes and final products.
Maintain organized documentation of all design revisions and project specifications.
Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to enhance design efficiency.
