The Role
We are seeking a skilled Test, Evaluation and Release Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies and test cases which align to program/project objectives.

We have three core priorities:

Building best-in-class people to support DDG’s efforts.
Developing and utilising best-in-class global platforms.
Developing and supporting best-in-class sovereign capabilities.

Our goal is to provide our warfighters the appropriate technologies needed to fight and win in the digital age.

This is a new role in a growing Branch, and you will be instrumental in helping to build both human and technical capabilities to achieve the Defence mission.

You will be part of a team of motivated ICT professionals working with complex projects across key Digital domains in Defence Digital Group (DDG). The team provides technical expertise and operates in a matrixed management environment with an individual or individuals embedded into a project or projects based on required skills and for an agreed duration.

Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have one or more of the following:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail;
Good understanding of software testing principles, best practice and methodologies;
Experience engaging with stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns;
Experience in exercising judgement when interpreting policies and applying practices and procedures in testing environments; and
Experience in mentoring other members of the team.
