As a Global Support Specialist at Qualitrol, your role involves working across different geographical locations to provide quality support to customers and in-Geography Applications Engineers. Your primary responsibility is to select and utilize Qualitrol products to meet customer application requirements. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with order processes such as quoting, pricing, and determining delivery schedules
- Reviewing design drawings and providing technical support for manufacturing, sales, and product management functions
- Responding to customer inquiries about Qualitrol products and applications to enhance sales
- Offering technical assistance for product queries and issues throughout the entire sales process
- Providing written quotations for standard and non-standard products
- Implementing pricing policies and resolving pricing discrepancies
- Reviewing and processing Purchase Orders
- Researching and identifying product solutions, including initiating new product models or derivatives
- Being proactive and responsive to customer needs, ensuring positive feedback on response quality and timeliness
- Documenting product selection and specification choices
- Supporting manufacturing by addressing questions and troubleshooting order-related problems
- Analyzing product failures and customer concerns, assisting with quality issues and generating reports as necessary
- Occasionally traveling to support the sales organization
