Job Summary
• Provide Job Summary to give an overview of the role. It is primarily used when advertising the role internally and externally during hiring
Responsibilities
• The Engineer is responsible for managing the log management platform and supporting application onboarding on log consolidation with skill of capacity sizing and configuring the ES clusters & shards and perform changes and maintenance as per business requirements
Key Features
• 8+ years' experience in Systems Engineering/DevOps role on Linux/Unix Systems
• Experience in Ansible
• Experience in Terraform will be added advantage but not mandatory
• Experience with microservices architecture orchestrated with Kubernetes
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Expertise with configuring and running a CI/CD platform such as Jenkins, Rundeck
• Expertise with a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with scaling secure infrastructures with no Single Point of Failure
• Experience with infrastructure automation such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform etc
• You should have experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)
• A demonstrable good level of proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java or C# and a willingness and capability to learn more.
