Job Description
Role : Ansible Lead with Linux experience
Band: B3
Location : Preferred locations Coimbatore/Kochi/Chennai/Pune (Flexible)
Shift : UK shifts ( 1 :00/ 2 PM to 10:30 /11:30 PM)
Key Roles and responsibilities:
· Virtualization - VMware Technologies
· 5 – 8 years admin and troubleshooting skills in RedHat Linux environment
· Expert knowledge on Ansible with good hands on
· Proven experience in translating project build activities into an automated deployment
· Experience in build robust systems
· Demonstrated problem solving abilities and initiatives
· Extensive hands on technical experience to cover server configuration management
· Configuring and maintaining RedHat servers and Virtualizations.
· Acquires Knowledge and detailed understanding on customer’s Virtualization and Linux environment.
· Validate Scope of Work and Due Diligence of Data and identify gaps
· Responsible for interacting with internal teams, vendors and customers to coordinate the timely completion of transition deliverables for Virtualization
· Work with the customer as an extended team of their Core Technical team.
· Responsible for involving in transition phases and prepared all necessary virtualization transition deliverables documents
· Responsible for giving reverse knowledge transfer to teams
· Anticipate risks and challenges in advance and effectively articulate risks & challenges .Work with internal and external eco system to mitigate risks in good time.
· Participate in project planning and execution
· Responsible for implementing best practice, patching, hardening and automation of BAU tasks.
· Knowledge and ability to identify the risks on the customer virtualization environment & make recommendations of solutions according to requirement.
· Self-driven and motivated individual who can lead from the front and take end to end ownership of the Virtualization process and Technology, the perspective of People, Process and Technology.
· Good understanding on Storage technology topologies like TINTRI, SAN, NAS,etc.
· Good Hand on experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of VMware host environment.
· Should understanding on migration strategy to migrating the workloads across datacenters.
· Experience in handling technical meetings with customer stake holders.
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
