Job Description
Role: Android Developer Intern
Job Location: New Delhi
Responsibilities:
• Learn and implement new features and functionalities for Rooter’s Android application under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborate with the team to conduct thorough testing and debugging of Android applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free code.
• Participate in code reviews to learn and improve coding practices and standards.
• Research and stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to ensure smooth integration and optimal user experience.
• Contribute to the documentation of Android application development processes and guidelines.
• Work closely with senior developers to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Currently in the final year of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with Java/Kotlin programming languages.
• Passion for mobile application development and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work full-time during the internship period.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Android development frameworks, such as Android Studio and Gradle.
• Familiarity with git version control systems
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and Material Design guidelines.
• Basic understanding of agile development methodologies
