Description:- Key Responsibilities- Independently manage and oversee assigned trademark portfolios.- Handle trademark prosecution, opposition, and rectification matters before relevant authorities.- Draft, review, and file applications, oppositions, counter-statements, and responses.- Advise clients on trademark availability, filing strategies, and brand protection.- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel for effective case management.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trademark-related activities.- Support senior leadership in business development initiatives and client relationship management.Qualifications & Experience:- Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in Trademark law and IP practice.- Education: Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent; Masters in IP Law preferred.Required Skills:- Proven experience in independent portfolio management.- Strong exposure to trademark prosecution and opposition proceedings.- Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills.- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.Preferred Skills:- Experience in a similar role within a reputable IP law firm or corporate legal department.- Working knowledge of international trademark laws and filing systems (e.g., Madrid Protocol).- Strong client-handling and advisory capabilities.
