As an Analyst/Sr. Analyst at TVS Capital Funds in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in identifying investment opportunities, conducting research, supporting deal execution, and monitoring portfolio companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying attractive investment opportunities.
- Conducting primary and secondary research on sectors to develop investment thesis.
- Assisting with investment assessment by understanding sectors, businesses, modeling, and assessing returns.
- Supporting deal execution through due diligence process and transaction documentation.
- Monitoring portfolio companies by attending board meetings, working on reporting, highlighting growth areas, and assessing risks to aid in portfolio decision making.
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in private equity, business consulting, investment banking, credit underwriting, or corporate strategy/M&A.
- MBA or CA degree, or a bachelor's degree from Tier I institutes.
