About The Role
Job responsibilities:
• Maintain workday security roles and provide access to the users following appropriate approval process
• Supports routine SOX audits
• Maintain and update security approval matrix and work closely with the relevant HR Global process owners to validate the same.
• Serve as a Workday Security domain expert and provide guidance and consultation to HR collaborators and partners
• Work directly with functional and technical project teams to assess Workday security needs and translate those needs into a globally aligned security model that aligns with project initiatives
• Assess the feasibility of security configuration or business process changes and their impact on HR business processes or integrations.
• Provide consistent and clear communications between all project collaborators.
• Participate proactively on multi-functional discussions related to security and standard methodologies.
• Drive decisions to an ideal future-state security matrix.
• Perform hands-on security group and user security configuration in Workday HCM.
• Functional knowledge of one or more Workday modules: HCM, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent Management
• Partner with security lead and security Global Process Owner to develop consistency and standardization of processes and services across HR Global Center.
• Developing strong relations with business users in different HR disciplines
• Ensure that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal controls
• Manage confidentiality of data by following established security/confidentiality standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and increase reporting efficiencies.
