About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to be based in a fixed term part-time position (30.4hrs/week) within the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department of this specialist cancer centre in the role of nutrition assistant through to the 1st of March 2027. Working within our team, and with the support of experienced dietitians, the successful applicant will conduct malnutrition screening and assist in supporting nutrition services to inpatients and ambulatory patients in a multidisciplinary care setting. This role includes working closely with dietitians, ward staff and food services. To succeed in this role you will need an Allied Health Assistant Certificate III or IV at a minimum (or equivalent Bachelor/other degree) in addition to excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate must be available to work an equivalent of 2 days/week, ideally a Tuesday or Thursday and a Friday.
