AI Sales Executive

Uplift AI is an AI SEO platform. We help businesses rank on Google and on the AI answer engines people now ask first: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. We audit a website, show where it's losing visibility, and tell the owner exactly what to change to rank. Our customers are small businesses, local service providers, and SEO agencies across Canada and the US.

We're early and moving fast, with a transparent goal: reach $1M in annual recurring revenue. This role owns turning our inbound interest into paying customers.

THE ROLE
We have a steady flow of inbound leads coming in through founder distribution and paid ads, people who are already interested in Uplift AI. Your job is to reach out to them, qualify them, get them on a call, run the product demo yourself, and close the deal. This is a full-cycle role: you own the lead from first contact to signed customer.

What You'll Do
Inbound Lead Response
- Respond quickly to inbound leads from founder distribution lists and ad campaigns.
- Qualify leads: understand their business, their current search/AI visibility problem, and whether Uplift AI is the right fit.

Appointment Setting
- Convert qualified leads into booked appointments.
- Follow up persistently but professionally; most leads don't convert on the first touch.
- Manage your calendar and pipeline so no lead goes cold.

Product Demos
- Run live product demos over video call, tailored to each prospect's website and industry.
- Explain clearly how Uplift AI improves visibility on Google and on AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity), i.e. AEO/GEO, in terms a non-technical business owner understands.
- Handle objections on price, timing, and technical skepticism.

Closing
- Own the close: proposal, pricing conversation, and getting the signature or payment.
- Track and report your close rate, deal size, and time-to-close.

CRM & pipeline hygiene
- Log every lead, call, and deal stage in the CRM without being chased for it.
