About the Role:
The Aged Care Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aging and disability services within the Local Health Network.
Drawing on experience and expertise, the Lead will lead the planning, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with the business plans, driving positive change and reform in aged care.
The role will provide operational leadership, ensuring high standards of service delivery through monitoring, data collection, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Coordinate patient care and develop a positive work culture
Contribute to operational planning and program integration
Requirements:
Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
3 years post-registration experience
Competence in nursing and/or midwifery practice
Leadership and management experience
Culturally appropriate health services experience
Selection Criteria:
Experience in management and leadership roles
Supervision of students, enrolled nurses, and less experienced staff
Working with Aboriginal consumers and communities
Complex clinical and consultancy services
