he Program Assistant determines academic documentation and language proficiency requirements for each applicant; requests and monitors the submission of supporting documentation; determines applicant readiness for evaluation; interprets and adheres to deadlines, implementing various and complex university policies and procedures regarding eligibility for admission to all undergraduate programs. The Assistant ensures applications are properly classified, processed accurately, and reviewed in a timely manner to support the attainment of institutional enrollment goals. The role serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, staff, and the public on the application process, status of applications, pre-requisite and transfer credit regulations, admission requirements and provides guidance on required documentation, university policies, and procedures governing eligibility for admission to the university for domestic, international, and strategic population groups. The Assistant supports data management by maintaining application record data in the Student Information System and exercises a high degree of digital fluency by responding to student inquiries via the Salesforce Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, executing business process workflows in the OnBase electronic document management system, complex application databases, and retrieval of electronic data from the B.C. Ministry of Education and external examining boards.
