Administration Officer (Frontline Support)
Job Description
What you'll do:
Process rates and water payments efficiently and accurately, ensuring council discount deadlines are met.
Liaise with Local Government and Water Service Providers to ensure timely transactions.
Provide high-level administrative support, including preparing briefings, correspondence, and reports.
Administer departmental systems such as RAPS, TRIM, SAP, and others to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the department and other agencies to support service delivery outcomes.
Monitor and review work practices, identifying opportunities for system and process improvements.
Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support decision-making and improve processes.
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence in using systems like RAPS, TRIM, and SAP.
