Long description:

Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, recycling and remanufacturing. We believe materials are not truly recycled until they’re made into something new—and it all starts with Visy Recycling. As Australia’s largest recycler, our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.

Based in Tullamarine reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering improvements in customer service through the effective resolution of customer issues.

What You Will Do:

Dealing directly with CDS customer via email and inbound calls
Answering and directing all incoming calls and handling enquiries
Actioning and resolving service requests, investigating escalations and service failures
Day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining the accuracy of the database
Make outbound calls to customers regarding updates to investigations and claims
Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Provide timely resolution of Container Deposit Scheme customer enquiries
General admin duties needed to assist the smooth running of the service team
Data entry – processing and updating client’s information


What You Will Bring:

1 year+ experience in a previous customer service retail, hospitality, or call center environment
Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport
Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written
Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
High levels of attention to detail
