Job Description
Wollongong Auto Supplies is an Australian Owned Automotive Parts Supplier looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team located in Wollongong NSW.
The Position is Monday to Friday with Flexible Hours up to full time.
The Job can be configured to work mainly between School Hours or a 4 day week (if required) for a suitable applicant.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include;
Working with and coordinating the accounts receivable team
Managing all aspects of Accounts Receivable with high volume of transactions
Calling debtors on a daily basis
Collection of payments, receipts and allocation
Review and reconciliation of customer accounts
Customer care including Query resolution for accounts and invoice enquiries
Data Entry including Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
Work closely with our sales team ensuring that business objectives are achieved
Reviewing credit applications and maintaining customer files
Finalising EOM and EOQ data sets for the company accountant.
The role will require you to liaise with internal staff and external customers.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and a proactive nature
Possess the highest standard of ethics, confidentiality & professionalism
Speed, accuracy and attention to detail in dealing with data.
You will need the ability to solve problems and meet deadlines.
You will need to have a pleasant telephone manner and demonstrate high levels of customer care.
You will be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
You will need to demonstrate highly effective communication skills – both written and oral.
You will also possess the ability to prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines have been met.
Positive, can-do attitude
Previous Experience in Accounting, Finance or related fields is an advantage.
Full training will be given using our in-house computing systems.
