This role is responsible for managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will work closely with a small team, suppliers, and clients to maintain strong financial controls and provide excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and reconcile weekly and monthly payment runs.
Manage Accounts Receivable, including raising invoices and allocating customer payments.
Monitor and follow up outstanding debtor accounts professionally.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account discrepancies.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
Process company credit card reconciliations and employee expense claims.
Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Respond to supplier and customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Assist with audit requests and financial compliance requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and procedures.
About You
You are organised and proactive. You have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Officer role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Experience using accounting software such as Xero (or similar ERP/accounting systems).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, word, sharepoint, outlook skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Full Australian working rights
Desirable
Experience in the disability, community services, healthcare, or labour hire sector.
Knowledge of NDIS invoicing and funding arrangements.
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification.

The Offer:
Permanent, Part-Time Role
3 days per week, 9am - 2pm or 2 full days, 9am - 5pm
Open to negotiating working hours
Pay: $36.22 – $38.50 per hour
