Job Description
Vatsalya Jr. College is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Accounts Professor to teach Accountancy to students of Grades XI & XII. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who can explain accounting concepts clearly, develop strong conceptual understanding, and prepare students for their academic examinations.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Accountancy to students of Grades XI & XII.
• Prepare and deliver structured, concept-based, and engaging lectures.
• Explain accounting concepts, principles, journal entries, ledger, trial balance, final accounts, partnership accounts, and other syllabus topics effectively.
• Guide students in solving numerical problems and developing strong accounting skills.
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, practice sessions, and doubt-solving sessions.
• Prepare students for school/board examinations through proper revision and examination-oriented practice.
• Monitor student performance and provide timely academic feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support where required.
• Maintain a disciplined, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus completion, assessments, and student progress.
• Maintain proper records of academic progress and syllabus completion.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the XI & XII Accountancy curriculum.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts and numerical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain complex accounting concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students achieve academic excellence.
• Prior teaching/coaching experience will be an advantage.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
