Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Preparation and finalizing of month-end closing, cash flow statement, ledger & Trail Balance scrutiny
• Preparing quarterly Balance sheet & Monthly closing entries in books for Provisions, Revenue Recognition and Expense Deferrals.
• External Interface: Interfacing with external auditors, Vendors, Consultants, trustees, donors, and Merchant Bankers, etc.
• Controlling tax fillings related to GST, TDS, and Return Fillings. Managing replies to notice received from Govt authorities and ensuring timely response to letters.
• Making payroll transfers after validation of salary sheets and coordination with HR for Payroll inputs and bank transactions related to HR compliances like PF, ESI, TDS, and PT.
• Quarterly reconciliation of 26AS tax credit with customer ledgers, balance confirmation to customers & service providers
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for Annual budget preparation.
• Manage a team of 2-3 members and ensure timely deliverables to clients (Accounting of transactions, MIS & other reports) and completion of all statutory compliance (TDS, TCS, GST, Advance Tax, etc. for various client organizations).
• Entry of all vouchers in Local Accounting Systems, Cash and Bank Reconciliation
• Filing of periodic returns (e-TDS, PF, Sales Tax, VAT, Service Tax, Professional Tax, FBT)
• Getting all the transactions audited by the External & Internal Auditors
• Finalization of yearly accounts, Income Tax
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Strong Communication skills, Experience in Accounting & Balance Sheet Analysis
• The person requires an understanding of the strategic direction senior management sets as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with a direct supervisor or team lead.
• Generally, interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within the organization.
• Must possess excellent soft skills Tally, Miracle, Excel Reporting Analysis, should be technically strong & a multi-tasker.
• Well-versed in Statutory compliance (TDS, GST, PF, ESI, PT, Labour laws
