• SMSF Accountant Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SMSF industry providing processing support to SMSF clients.
Responsibilities:
• Perform specialist SMSF accounting and administration.
• Manage basic compliance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Conduct research on superannuation-related topics under senior review.
• Collaborate with accounting team members for high-quality results.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in SMSF industry supporting clients.
• Familiarity with software like Simple Fund BGL 360, Class Super, and Supermate.
• Strong understanding of SMSF regulations in Australia and knowledge of the SMSF audit process.
• Excellent communication skills and team experience.
Candidate Attributes:
• Ability to clearly express ideas and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Value placed on continuous learning and teamwork.
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
• CA/CMA/Inter-CA and CMA (not pursuing further study).
• M.com/MBA (with experience in accounts).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a KPO based role in Australia (preferably for SMSF)/UK/USA firm.
