Job description
Title: Bookkeeper/Accountant
Location: West Island
Salary: 75-90K
Hybrid
Start date: as soon as possible

Responsibilities
Input vendor invoices and payments
Input customer invoices and payments
Reconcile all bank accounts
Input all credit card transactions for credit card accounts and reconcile to monthly statements
Prepare sales invoices for your approval and submit approved invoices to customers
Prepare GST/QST returns
Prepare monthly project accruals
Print financial reports to include:
Open Invoices and Unpaid Bills
Comparative PL
Comparative Balance Sheet
Cash Position statement and Monthly Financial Reporting
On a biweekly basis, input payroll based on information provided by management
Calculate employees’ taxable benefits related to the company’s group insurance plan at the beginning of the year or upon enrolment of new members
Calculate group insurance adjustments in the last month of the fiscal year
Verify T4, T4 Summary, RL-1 prepared by the payroll processing service organization and prepare the RL-1 Sommaire forms and workers’ compensation filing.

Qualifications
BAC in Accounting or other relative experience
3 - 5 years of experience in similar role
Experience working with Sage 300 or other ERP Systems (an Asset)
Proficient in excel
Bilingual (an Asset)
