Job Description
Job Title: Accountant – Zoho Books & Inventory Management
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
• Manage inventory items in Zoho Inventory, including composite and non-composite items.
• Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for products.
• Handle bundling and assembly of inventory items.
• Monitor and control stock levels through purchase orders and inventory reports.
2. Invoicing & Billing:
• Generate and process invoices, credit/debit notes, B2B bills, and export bills.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase bills and expense bills.
3. Banking & Reconciliation:
• Classify and manage banking transactions within Zoho Books.
• Reconcile payments from:
• Payment gateways
• Cash on Delivery (COD) collections (e.g., Bluedart)
• Marketplace platforms (e.g., Myntra)
• Reconcile logistics-related debit entries and ensure accuracy in accounts.
4. Exports:
• Manage and track Foreign Inward Remittance Statements (FIRS).
• Coordinate with banks for export-related documentation and remittance tracking.
5. Reports and MIS
• Accurately reconcile sales and deductions from e-commerce platforms such as Myntra, ensuring correct ledger entries.
• Multiple Reports and MIS- Fulfilment Report, Logistic Report etc.
6. Payment Processing
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, salary disbursements, and other operational expenses.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, MS-Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with e-commerce and export accounting is preferred.
• Attention to detail, organized work habits, and the ability to manage multiple financial workflows.
