Job Title: Accountant – Receivables & Reconciliation
Location: Powai, Mumbai
Experience: 2–3 Years
Department: Finance & Accounts
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage receivables and perform account reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting processes related to sales, outstanding management, and customer ledger maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections from customers/distributors
• Perform customer ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
• Record and reconcile invoices, credit notes, and debit notes
• Coordinate with sales and commercial teams for claim validations and settlement
• Resolve discrepancies in billing or payments and respond to inquiries
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in monthly closing and reporting activities
• Support audits by providing required data and documentation
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com or equivalent)
• 2–3 years of experience in core accounting, preferably in receivables
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
• Proficient in MS Excel; working knowledge of Tally/SAP/ERP systems preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving attitude
