Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime / ERP * with accuracy and timeliness.Perform bulk data import/export between Excel and Tally for vouchers, ledgers, sales, purchases, and journal entries.Ensure accuracy in mapping heads of accounts while importing data and verify reconciliation after import.Prepare monthly financial statements including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and compute depreciation as per accounting standards.2. GST CompliancePrepare and file monthly GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual return (GSTR-9).Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase register and coordinate with vendors for mismatch resolution.Manage input tax credit utilization and reporting.Handle GST-related queries, notices, and department communications.3. TDS ComplianceDeduct, compute, and deposit TDS under relevant sections (194C, 194I, 194J, etc.).Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q).Maintain reconciliation of TDS ledgers and Form 26AS.4. MIS & ReportingPrepare monthly ageing analysis of debtors and creditors.Generate reports on revenue, expenses, receivables, and statutory liabilities.Support internal audit and statutory audit documentation.6. CoordinationCoordinate with banks for payments, OD facility utilization, and reconciliations.Liaise with external auditors and consultants for statutory filings.Required SkillsProficiency in Tally Prime, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table), and accounting systems.Strong command over Excel, including data import/export to Tally using Excel templates or utility tools.Strong understanding of GST and TDS provisions.Knowledge of import/export accounting and documentation.Good communication and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and meet timelines.QualificationB.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in similar accounting and compliance roles.CompensationCompetitive salary based on experience and capability.Performance-based incentives and career growth opportunities.
