With over 3000 employees, 50 different products and a global client base, theres no better time to advance your career at Aptean.The successful applicant will work as part of COEs Finance function in the role of AP accounting.General accounting of global region based on work allocation.Skillful to balance the work to address different time zone and related communications whenever necessary.Scope will be majorly to handle US, UK, EMEA or other global regions accounts payable process.Role may include any activities like:Accounts payable and/or payments related to vendors &/or employeesResponsible for processing/accounting/booking of all the vendor invoices received in a common mailbox (Booking/ or payments) within given timelines with:Verification of invoices/bills for correctnessBooking with Appropriate GL code, department, product codesEntering correct description and details of the invoice.Getting invoices validated/approved from various counterparts.Thorough in vendor and employee payment process.Responsible for managing and responding to Vendor queries.Awareness of Employee expense claims process and approve or pay the expenses, ensuring the claims agree with Company Expense policy.Responsible for preparing reconciliation for vendor/Employee LedgersAwareness of Prepaid entries, amortization of expensesAwareness of accrual/Provisions accounting and its reversalsResponsible for preparing month close entries/details with accuracy, preparation of AP schedules /reco.Acquisitions integration activities to be incorporated as and when transitioned to India CoE.Timely responding to the mails/queries if any.Understanding the policy/process and ensuring its implementation.Knowledge of accounting software migration/implementation.Identifying the areas of process improvement handled by self and work on process improvement.Responsible for manage the given task independently without much supervision.Responsible for manage the given task independently without errors/escalations/delays etcReady to take additional responsibility when management asked to do so.Work Experience3-5Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesA proven track record of general accountingADITIONAL CRITERIAAccounts payable and payment processing, Accounting, Finance, GL, JV, PP, Deferrals, FA, Blackline,If you share our mindset, you can share in our success.
