Role Overview
This position focuses on managing crew payroll accounting and portage billing within the shipping domain. The role also involves working with crew agreements and wage computation processes tied to seafarer compensation and related statutory or trust-based contributions.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage crew payroll accounting along with portage billing activities.
• Work with crew agreements and collective bargaining arrangements.
• Calculate crew wages accurately based on payroll inputs and vessel-side information.
• Coordinate with the Master to collect and verify crew payroll data.
• Handle contributions and deductions related to Seafarers PF, gratuity, annuity, AVC, NMB Trust, and Welfare Fund.
• Manage crew PNI-related processing as part of payroll administration.
Candidate Requirements
• Strong background in bulk crew payroll and portage billing, preferably from the shipping industry.
• At least 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team of 20 or more members.

• Oversee crew payroll accounting and portage billing tasks.
• Administer crew agreements and related wage calculation processes.
• Obtain and validate crew payroll information by coordinating with the vessel Master.
• Process Seafarers PF, gratuity, annuity, AVC, NMB Trust, and Welfare Fund-related items.
• Address crew PNI matters as part of the payroll workflow.
Requirements
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in bulk crew payroll and portage billing within the shipping sector.
• Very good communication and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team of at least 20 people.
