Job Description
Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuations, and operational expenditure.
Examine operating costs and organisational income and expenditure to identify efficiencies.
Analyze and calculate the true landed cost for all import and export shipments .
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, payroll tax, FBT, and other statutory obligations.
Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans, and operations.
Conduct financial investigations and prepare reports on matters such as the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency, and taxation.
Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.
Liaise with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangements.
Preference will be given to those with experience in Reckon Enterprise Accounting software
Maintain and improve accounting systems, policies, and internal controls.
Introduce and advise on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.
Maintain internal control systems.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with external audits and liaise with professional advisers as required.
Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, taxation legislation, and regulatory requirements.
CPA qualification or CPA Program Candidate
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
