Job Description: Accountant (Tally Accounting Software)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant who possesses expertise in Tally Accounting Software, along with proficiency in GST, TDS filing, and E-commerce accounting. As an Accountant in our organization, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

Maintain Tally Accounting Software:Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Tally Accounting Software to record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions.
Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and other financial data in Tally.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards while using Tally for financial operations.
GST and TDS Filing:Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns accurately and within the prescribed timelines.
Handle Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) filings, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and timely submission.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, using Tally.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide regular reports and financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

E-commerce Accounting:

Apply your experience in E-commerce accounting to manage financial transactions specific to online sales platforms.
Ensure accurate recording of sales, refunds, discounts, commissions, and other relevant transactions related to E-commerce operations.

Compliance and Audit Support:

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records, reconciliations, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, legal regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Tally Accounting Software is essential.
Sound knowledge of GST and experience in filing GST returns.
Familiarity with TDS filing requirements and procedures.
Experience in E-commerce accounting is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
