About the role

We are seeking a couple of proactive and capable Engineers – OT Maintenance, these roles will support and maintain our extensive Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you’ll ensure that critical systems operate reliably and efficiently to meet business needs and service level agreements.

These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing performance and resilience of essential OT systems across both metropolitan and regional operations. Whether you're troubleshooting complex issues or driving continuous improvement, your work will directly support the delivery of vital services to the community.

What the role will involve

Monitor and maintain OT systems to ensure reliability, availability, and performance, including upgrades, fault resolution, and preventative maintenance.
Configure and install OT infrastructure such as RTUs, PLCs, modems, radios, routers, SCADA, OIPs while adhering to corporate change management policies.
Investigate system failures, perform corrective actions, and implement minor configuration changes to support operational continuity.
Conduct technical assessments and contribute to the development and remediation of OT and control system assets.
Maintain accurate records of work activities and assist in preparing specifications for external service providers.
Provide technical advice to internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.
Participate in site meetings and collaborate with contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with OSH and corporate policies.
Support strategic alignment and capability development across OT teams and business units.
Key skills and experience

A degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering is preferred or solid experience in maintaining OT networks and systems. Candidates should have working knowledge of OT commissioning, instrumentation, control systems, and communications infrastructure, including interpreting PIDs and applying software engineering principles.

The role requires flexibility for occasional regional visits and availability for rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends. A valid WA driver’s licence is essential.

Strong communication skills, teamwork, and alignment with the Corporation’s values are key, alongside a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
