Full job description
Core Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:Greeting customers, providing assistance with purchases, and answering questions about products or promotions.
Transaction Processing:Operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems, scanning items, calculating totals, and processing payments (cash, credit, debit).
Cash Handling:Managing cash transactions, making change accurately, and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Payment Methods:Processing various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, and potentially other forms of payment like coupons.
Customer Service:Resolving customer issues, handling returns and exchanges, and providing a positive shopping experience.
Maintaining Checkout Area:Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Additional Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge:Familiarizing themselves with store layout, product locations, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
Restocking and Inventory:Assisting with restocking shelves and ensuring the checkout area is adequately supplied.
Sales Support:Promoting store loyalty programs and assisting with other sales-related tasks as needed.
Teamwork:Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
