Choral Program Director (Grades 4–12) – Renert School, Calgary

Renert School, located in Royal Oak NW, is one of Calgary’s leading private schools. We hire exceptional educators who are passionate about helping students express themselves through the arts.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Choral Director to lead our Grades 4–12 choral program starting September 2025.

Our choral program spans Grades 2 to 12 and currently includes three ensembles:

Choristers (Grades 2–3)
Junior Choir (Grades 4–6)
Senior Choir (Grades 7–12)
The choirs perform regularly at school showcases, concerts, assemblies (including Remembrance Day), and musicals. Rehearsals are held Monday–Thursday from 7:40 to +:20 am, and the choirs are an important part of our school culture.

We are looking for a passionate, imaginative choral educator who knows how to bring out the best in students and create joyful, polished performances.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years’ experience directing school choirs
Strong piano skills and ability to accompany rehearsals
A love of working with children and youth
Creativity, energy, and a great sense of fun
